Thanks to all the students who have entered our poetry competition. Winners will be announced on National Poetry Day on Friday 26 August.There will be an 'open mic' in the library at lunchtime. Come along and read a poem you have written or a favourite poem.

Paula Green Visits Good Shepherd
On Tuesday poet and author Paula Green ran interactive performances for junior, middle and senior students.

Anthony Browne Books and Activities
Please visit the library and take a look at our Anthony Browne display. How many Anthony Browne books have you read? Play the SHAPE GAME designed by Anthony Browne in the library this week and next week. Create an imaginary creature from a shape.Or older children might like to try their hand at drawing the 'Willy the Wimp' character. There's pictures to show you how.

Dr Seuss Birthday Celebrations
On the 2nd of March we celebrated Dr Seuss' birthday in the library. Mrs Suggate read the newest Dr Seuss book "What Pet Should I Get?" and then Mrs Scanlan read 'I can read with my eyes shut". The librarians ran a colouring competition.
