Today my mum came into the library and taught some year 5/6 students how to make a monster bookmark. We hope you like them.

Junior Reading

On Wednesday we started junior reading. Mrs Butcher read lots of different Margret Mahy books. By Lachlan and Lucas

New Display

We have just finished making our new library display. It took a long time to cut out all the hands but we wanted to make something bright and that would stand out on the wall. We also hope to encourage children to read. So we hope you've got your hands on a good book!

Dr Seuss

On 2 of March it was Dr. Seuss'birthday. This is why we are celebrating the day with a Dr Seuss  book week,with coloring competition, a daily book read . So far this week we have read The Cat in the Hat comes back with Mrs Butcher, Green Eggs and Ham and Oh, the places you'll Go with Mrs Suggate. Also on Thursday Mrs Hahn will be reading her favorite book too.

Library Display

Come into the library sometime and choose a call number off the wall to find a new book to read.


Call numbers are letters and numbers that appear on the spine or bottom of the cover of books in the library.
The call number is like an address; it tell us where the book is located in the library.
